I have asthma. Would I be suitable for Simply Life?

If you have asthma and haven't smoked or used any nicotine products, such as gum or patches in the last 12 months, we'll accept you at ordinary rates.

If you have asthma and use any nicotine products or smoke up to 20 cigarettes or cigars a day, we’ll apply a rating of +50%.

Simply Life isn’t suitable if you have:

• asthma and smoke more than 20 cigarettes or cigars a day;
• been admitted to hospital due to asthma in the last two years;
• received treatment with steroid tablets in the last two years due to asthma; or
• had oxygen treatment in the last two years due to asthma.
