Wealth Management Portfolio

Investment choice

From as little as £15,000, you can choose from our Portfolio funds (layer one), which includes some of the best-known and most experienced fund managers in the industry.

Our Portfolio range covers all different types of risk ratings and a variety of sectors. The risk rating for each of our funds is based on its risk relative to other funds in our full fund range. It's not its risk compared against industry benchmarks.

Wealth Management Portfolio - our investment proposition

If your investment or bond value is over £75,000, you can also access our Preferential range (layer two). With over 1,100 funds, many with reduced charges, it's a great option when building portfolios.

And with the Preferential range, where the fund manager pays renewal commission we guarantee to pay this to you regardless of whether we've received it from the fund manager. We'll then chase the fund manager for this payment.

In addition to the Preferential range you also have access to our Universal acceptable assets range (layer three) - investments not normally available direct to investors.

If you select funds from the Preferential or Universal range, we'll set up a cash account. This account is to cover the charges, withdrawals, the collection of income and the settlement of deals for the external assets without having to liquidate other assets. We recommend that you hold 5% of your investment in the cash account to cover these charges. If you invest 100% in our Portfolio funds, no cash account is needed. Here are the interest rates that will apply to the cash account, if needed:

  British pounds Euros US dollars
Credit balance
0.00%
0.00%
0.00%
Debit balance
3.5%
4.75%
3.25%

Please note that the interest rates are linked to the bank rates and may change.

With such an extensive fund range it's easy to find a fund or build a portfolio that suits your own attitude to risk and investment objective. And as we've been able to negotiate preferential terms, you can also build a cost-effective portfolio. Speak to your financial adviser about selecting funds or building a portfolio to meet your investment needs.

Our website is also regularly updated with information on our funds. In our fund section you can find out about the funds available, the cost of them and how they've performed.
