Deciding on the best way to pay for your bond can be a difficult decision. That's why it's one we think only your financial adviser should give you advice on. Speak to your financial adviser today to find out more about the charges on WMP.
We may vary these charges from time to time where we have a valid reason. We will keep our charges information updated on our website. You can access this information here
Extensive investment choice

We don't carry out any due diligence on these funds and don't assess the suitability or reliability of these investments.
Access to capital
With WMP your money isn't locked away. It gives the option to take regular withdrawals monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly - and one-off withdrawals.
There could be a charge for cashing in part or all of your bond. If you've received a quotation for WMP or already have WMP, your personal illustration and key features document that you received will have details of these charges. If you've not yet taken out our WMP, your financial adviser will be able to tell you what the potential charges would be.
Tax advantages
WMP has several tax advantages including choosing when to pay tax on any gains you make and it won't be taxed year on year apart from some withholding tax, that can't be recovered, on certain funds.
You can also move between funds/assets without triggering a capital gains tax liability. And unless a chargeable event occurs, for example you withdraw more than 5% a year or cash the bond in, you won't have to complete a self-assessment tax form.
All references to taxation are based on our understanding of current taxation law and HM Revenue & Customs practice in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, which may change. The amount of tax relief you may get depends on your financial circumstances.
