What is AEGON Secure Capital?

It’s a single contribution, unit-linked investment bond, issued as 10,000 identical policies for flexibility.

Who can take out an AEGON Secure Capital bond?

Individuals or trustees. The minimum age for ownership is 18. There is no maximum age.

Who can be the life assured?

It can be set up as a single life, joint life or life of another.

Are there any age restrictions on the life assured?

No minimum age (on the youngest life assured).

Maximum age is 74 (on the youngest life assured).

Are there minimum and maximum amounts I can invest?

Yes – the minimum is £15,000.

Investment amounts over £1 million will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

What guarantees are available with AEGON Secure Capital?

You have the choice of two different guarantee options, which must be selected at the beginning of the bond.

Can I withdraw money from my AEGON Secure Capital?

Yes, but you should be aware that withdrawing money will proportionately reduce the guarantees on your plan.

What funds are available to invest in?

How will I know how much my bond will cost me?

We’ll clearly set out all the charges in your personal illustration. Your financial adviser will give you this before you decide if you want to take the bond out.

How can I find out how my bond is doing?

Each year we’ll issue a yearly statement. You can have a further three statements each plan year, free of charge.

Can I make additional investments into my bond?

If you want to make additional payments, we’ll set up a new bond for you.
